Need Source for Powder Coated Rectangular Aluminium Bar

I want to build a better mounting bracket for my Radions. I don't like how the light sags slightly with their mount (when mounting the lights lengthwise). Does anyone know where I can purchase power coated rectangular aluminum stock. My Google search didn't come up with anything promising.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Marty

your best bet is to build the bracket then bring it to a shop to be powder coated. I don't think you will find just regular stock material that is powder coated cause once you start to cut it to length you will start chipping the powder coat.

Have you thought about 80/20 aluminum? You can pretty much build anything you want from it. I think you can get it anodized custom colors but don't think they will powder coat though. Also, lowes or Home Depot sells bare aluminum stock. I'm not sure if you're going to find anywhere that sells powder coated stock, you might find anodized. If your set on having it powder coated, there are plenty of places that perform custom powder coating.

Also, VHT sells spray paint that drys with a wrinkle finish, very similar to powder coating. You can get it at auto parts stores. It only comes in red or black. It's also not as durable as powder coating since it's just spray paint.

+1 on the 80/20 extrusion..AWESOME STUFF..
No need to powercoat aluminum.. and you can get it in black anodized if you want black vs aluminum color

OP, try this place: http://eztube.com I'm using some of their powder coated 1" tubing to reinforce my hood with Radion's on top. Fast shipping, and while I don't have the project completed, being able to order pre-powdercoated 1" material, have it show up on my doorstep, and only needing to take a hacksaw to cut it down to size was a big plus for me. Black powdercoat is a standard option, but they can finish material in just about any color for an additional price. You can also get powder-coated angle pieces to join sections of the 1" tubing together.

Need Source for Powder Coated Rectangular Aluminium Bar

I built the rack for my light out of EZrube. It's great stuff. I ended up using the aluminum stock from Lowes for the bracket. It worked great I will post some pics.

Thanks to everyone that responded.
