The Hobby Can Be Tough

I've had a freshwater tanks for years. Last year made the decision to go saltwater and have been very please (140 G tank). Been taking it extremely slow and I am learning really it is like underwater gardening to a degree. Better have a landscape plan!

I have the following fish: Purple Tang, Six Line Wrasse, Royal Gramma and two Clown Fish. I'd like to another a fish with the potential to get a little bigger than the gramma, wrasse and clowns. Been reading the posts that it is one tang per 75 gallons. Since I am so close with 140 Gallons was thinking about a second tang but do realize I need the different body shapes. LFS suggested the Kole yellow eye but it looks too brown. I really like the brighter colors. I keep coming back to the blonde naso or the run of the mill blue hippo.

Just wanted to get your thoughts on another fish that would potentially peacefully coexist, is bright in color(s) and will get a little larger than the wrasse/clown/gramma I already have. Thanks in advance.

Are you keeping corals in there? If so, a dwarf angel (Flame, Lemonpeel, Coral Beauty) would do nicely I think, they can be reef safe. If not, maybe a full-on angelfish? They eat corals, but they are gorgeous.

A Foxface will add color and they are great at taking care of algae on the rocks before it has a chance to get out of hand...

I absolutely love my Kole Tang. They arent brown, but more like a purplish color with yellow eyes and white stripes/spots

if you want something to clean algae, a Kole Tang will clean your rocks 24/7

foxface is also a good idea, but ensure they stay fed and happy or they can nip polyps. foxfaces are total gluttons for Nori

Be careful with multiple tangs in one tank, unless its huge. They can get pretty aggressive with other tangs, especially if they are of the same shape and appearance.
