Nice thread, can't wait to see updated pics.

My Home Depot buckets are orange, I want a white one!

I LOVE this build. I am so glad you put the AI nano in the stock hood.
I was thinking of taking one of the 12 gallon edge tanks.. (tall model)
and want to keep it looking stock as well, but I knew the lights were not near enough.

I have a fulval 305 that i was goign to use for chemical filtration and flow.
Just use carbon or chemipure... no foam insterts or bioballs. etc.
this can also provide enough flow. the hoses can fit right up the stock hood.
that and an AI nano... and I'm all set i think!

Only thing i worry about is gas exchange with such a small opening....

I too have the 46L Edge. For the record .. The Edge is NOT made of tempered glass. I twice drilled mine and have it running with a sump now. The sump makes for great air exchange! I'm looking at the AI Nano for mine too, but being a grad student the price is just so much. What optics have people been using? Due to it being so close to the water level, would you recommend the widest optics possible?

nice tank fellow Canuck!!!

I also just set up a Fluval edge 6g..

what did you use for your heater in your tank?

also how are you AI nano lights doing?

Do you like the 6000k Led white or do you wish you had 10K to get a whiter light? do you get a lot of algee growth from them?

did you by the wireless and Controller

thanks
