Also they are 16x8.5. Id be using it on a 40b. Would one be enough or would I need two of them so sustain a reef. It says good for LPS and SPS.

I would advise against it. Go with a more full spectrum light like the reefbreeders.

I dont know the brand or its reputation, but just on leds alone...this would be a good "starter" kit.

Do you think 1 would be good enough on a 40b?

Go for it. One would be enough. For that price you can't beat it. I picked up three similar fixtures that are only blue and white.

Can you pm me where u found these? I might try a full spectrum after I run my blue and white ones for a while.

I did look up the one on reefbreeders. They seem to be pretty much the same thing.

The eBay one has cool white, neutral white, warm white, green, deep red, violet, royal blue and blue. The reefbreeders one just has neutral white, doesn't have green and blue. Nm's are same too or a little more on the eBay one. And is cheaper.
