Corals.. Anemones.. I need help!!

Right.. Still relatively new to all this. I've been keeping reef for about 2 months now.

I've got corals. But just like these sorts: (top left.. It's the only picture I had in my gallery haha)
I LOVE corals that you see like "torches" and "bulbs" etc. but I have been advised by many people that I shouldn't get any!

Is there any reasons why people (me) can't get them? I understand their "feelers" grow to find food. How dangerous is this? Does it endanger fish?

Basically I want to understand all the details and also if there's anything I can do the prepare for them.

Also.. Same goes for anemones. Heard similar things about these? Again.. Can I get one? Will it be suitable in my 30 gallon tank! Etc etcc. Hope you get what I'm after!

Thanks in advance

Lee
