Pods

So I've always seen the tiny white bugs in my tank(pods) but saw a big 1 run under my LR never thought they got bigger but I google image searched pods and saw some identical to my mysterious bug guy

Those are amphipods, much larger than copepods which are the tiny dots you'll see on your tank sides at night. Amphipods are fun to watch, they'll run out and grab fish food that sinks just like crabs/snails do.

Cool so I got amphipods and Copepods I swear every time I sit and stare at my nano reef I find something new

And probably a few other "pods". Find where one of the amphipods hides and drop a small sinking pellet in there - he'll jet out and grab it like a shrimp does. Of course, any fish with a keen eye will make a quick meal out of him too.
