Need a crab ID please

I originally thought this crab was a Mithrax and beneficial - it came in on a live rock and was pretty small. It's grown quite a bit in size and I suspect it might be responsible for lots of dead ceriths and snails I've found. I also have a few hermits in the tank (that I put there on purpose).

Thanks for ID and/or advice. This crab is about 2" across now.

Looks like a red mithrax crab, red form of an emerald crab.

To be sure he is a true red mithrax look inside the elbows for this bright red.

His claws look kinda pointy like a bad crab...but I am not really sure at all.
