I have the mini wide reflectors with mogul recepticle. The mogul wire is a 14/3 cable that is open ended. There is a black, white and green wire within the cable.
I use Coralvue 250w electronic ballast. The ballast wire was also open ended so I just connected the same colours together. I don't know anything about the m80 ballast so the connection may be different.

This one:
http://www.aqua-medic.com/product/oc...-adapter-cord/ Looks like what plugs to their ballast, you may want to check with them to be 100% sure. You can cut off that other plug and splice. You can also do what I did...wire it directly to the ballast. You lose the ability of quick disconnection, but it saves money. Wiring it is not hard at all if you have some basic electric skills. Where the wires connect insode is self explanatory as the ground connection is directly beneath the female plug. You ccan remove the female plug and run the wire through that hole. Its about 10 small screws to open the ballast, and one nut insdie.

It's roughly wall voltage running through the lines except for startup. A heavy duty extension cord works fine for a connection if you want to hardwire it. I prefer to use the quick disconnects and think it's worth it. I take my reflectors down and spray them with di each time I change the bulbs.
Di is what you should clean them with. Nothing else.

You need one per ballast. Hope it is ok to post the link. http://www.aquacave.com/Quick-Discon...lug-P1892.aspx This is what I got for reflex cube 250w and lumenbright mini's.

I don't have those ballasts anymore, I stuck with BlueWave. The Reeflex are great ballasts though, I mainly stuck with the BW because the cords matched.
That linked to a page full of items.....but if you get the 3 prong male and aplice off that, it would be the easiest.

They are cord ends that you wire onto your reflector. I cut the original ends off of my reflectors, the. Screwed the new coed ends on. Wasn't too terribly hard to do, and I'm not a very good diy'er...
