Phosban vs. "other" GFO

Close to a month ago I added a TLF Phosban 150 reactor to my system. At the same time I purchased it, I also bought some Phosban and that is what I have been running in it. I suppose it is about time to change the media and am wondering if I should stick with Phosban, or if I should go with something like BRS GFO. Any opinions on this?

I have used both hc gfo and regular brs gfo amd I think that the Phosban works better because it takes out silica also

If you still have a supply use it up it works. If your out BRS GFO works great!

I believe all GFO will absorb silicate - it's not brand specific.

Phosban is good stuff but expensive. You can save a good amount of money buying in bulk.

I can say that BRS GFO works well. It will almost completely eliminate the coraline algae on my back glass when I'm running it.
