Mud thoughts

Tell me your thoughts good or nad on using mud in a refugium
My lfs owner says to just fill the sump with live rock and let it be and that is how he runs his in the store

i would like to hear input as well. A friend of mine has offered me a bucket of Mud for my sump as well. Not sure of the benefits if any though.

I use mud in my fug pods seem to like it but I have the mud in Tupperware containers and not covering the whole bottom. It's to make cleanup easier

Nope, not in my tank.

Lots of live rock. He uses the Berlin method. Research it. I use a modified version and it has worked very well for me.

I saw miracle mud sells a "brick"so it can be removed but it is over $50 I just want to be sure it will work before I spend it on something that is not worth it

Not a fan personally after trying it myself a few years ago.
