Recommend small footprint pump for phosban reactor hang on
Hey guys,
Can anyone recommend a pump that has a pretty small footprint for a hang on phosban reactor, tank is 2 feet. I did my research over the net and the maxijet 400 that gets recommended a lot here isnt available here in Australia. Also does a external non submersible pump work? (that way i could hang on back of aquarium next to the reactor without a pump taking space in the tank) does it self prime incase of power out? Thanks. |

I have 2 eheim compact pumps and am pleased with them. I have the compact 1000 for my GFO reactor and it's a very small and silent pump. I have the 3000 as my return pump also. I have had the maxi400 and was pretty disappointed in it. I bought it at first to mix salt in my storage containers which are 32g and it's pretty much non-existent in there. I haven't tried it for a reactor but it just seems like it was a total waste of money for that pump.
