i think they should air a show...maybe call it "untanked"...where they film them removing the fish after the install. that would be fun to watch.

I heard that the water was really cold when adding the fish. The LFS offered to get a bunch of heaters to help bring the temp up, but they said no and went ahead with the fish.
Also almost none of the fish are alive that they started with. |

IMO, abusing an animal is almost as bad as abusing a human. They're abusing the fish because A) they're "cycling" the tank, throwing fish and corals in there, then take most of them back out. I bet half the fish that they take out don't make it because of the stress

I saw a bit of that episode recently. I get that it's a TV show, and they aren't showing everything, all the other prep work, etc. but the fact that all these fish are thrown into a new and often very unsuitable shaped tank, and then die, really makes me feel ill.
