Have 2 MP60's - adding 4 MP40's overkill?

On my 450g, I currently only have 2 MP60's and 2 Dart Pumps (for sump) for circulation. The MP60's sit fairly high up in the tank due to my rock positioning. They face right at each other from each end of the tank. Tank is 8x3x2.5 foot.

I recently went bare bottom (removed my sand), so can put pumps down low now. I get a lot of dead spots right now where waste accumulates. I am considering putting a MP40 in each corner near the bottom. Think that is overkill? Should I maybe start with 2 and put in opposing corners to hope for some whirlpool action in the lower part of the tank?

How is the rock laid out?

Move one mp60 down low.

Without sand I would have two mp40wes on the back wall.

I'm currently running a gyre. The flow is incredible.

It may be overkill but I would start with two. I found when I had 1mp60 and 3mp40 my 360 had more then enough flow. I ran the mp60 at about 50%.

Even if it's too much, you use the extra pumps, for more chaotic flow in areas of need. Given your water volume, should be ok.
