It also says that it is impossible to overdose. After my cycle, I added the entire 4oz bottle just to be extra safe. You will be fine with adding half. Keep the other half refrigerated (up to 6 month shelf life after opening, or 1 year unopened) in case of emergency (a larger bioload than planned or an unexpected spike, etc).
