Damsels
Does any one know if a humbug damsel will mess with coral? And would it mess with a tang?

They are fine with corals but can get aggressive even with a bigger tang. How big is your tank? If it is 100 gallons or bigger you should be fine as far as aggression goes.

Wouldn't risk it personally. I have had to pull apart my 65 for a damsel and again for a dotty back. And again for a six line wrasse.

I personally wouldn't mess with any damsel in just a 75 gal. They will become too territorial in a tank that small. Only exception are chromis, but many of those seem to be plagued with Uronema these days.

Every fish is different and the Tang does have that barb for protection so the outcome is difficult to predict. Humbug damsels are one of the more aggressive damsels, so I would avoid it myself in a 75 gallon tank. They get big, ugly and more aggressive as they mature.
