Current marine orbit LEDs
I'm new to the hobby and waned to get the current marine orbit led light.... I'm gonna have a softie lps dominated tank... With maybe some sps... Your input on the light... Maybe one rose bubble tip, depends on the bio load
My tank is a standard 55 gallon |

For any low light SPS you will really need two of these units, and the RBTA will certainly enjoy the extra light (if not need it). They will both fit small skinny units, low heat. For just LPS and softies the one unit will be good, just make sure to place your higher light demanding LPS closer to the surface. If you go the route of two fixtures... I would recommend a single ReefBreeders Photon 48 (or similar higher output LEDs) instead.

I have 2 of the 36"-48" units on my 70. I am growing a birds nest about 4" from the surface and and RBTA who has made himself home right in the middle of the tank (tank is 24" deep). They are nice lights loaded with features and will work well with softies. If you want moderate light Lps I would get 2. And if your tank is 48" wide get the 48"-60" for sure.

I think you are the only person I know who can actually speak for running two of these for one tank... Good to know!
