Also stop stressing over your ph so much. The mag, alk, and calcium will keep it in check. Ph will also fluctuate throughout the day and night due to light patterns.

I've stopped worrying about it. It's now sticking around a better range. Averaging 8.1. I'm going to give it another few days to a week to see if where it's placed now is any better

So they still haven't opened at all and still look the most recent picture I posted. One thing I did notice it looks like they are "flaky". That is probably not a good term for it but I can't think of anything else to describe it at the time. I tried taking a picture but it doesn't really show up. I'm assuming this isn't a good sign, right? Could it have been from the amount of light? Is it reversible? I'll try and get a picture again but like I said it's hard to photograph and actually see the areas I'm talking about.

How long did you acclimate your Zoas. Did you drip acclimate or do an add water to the bag. Probably not a huge issue but just curious. When I got my Zoas (Eagle Eye off eBay), I did a 2 hour acclimation and they have been open and happy ever since. I spot feed 3 times a week and they are growing like crazy.

Drop the lighting down to 40% and see how they react after a few days. You could have shocked them with too much light. If this is your only coral you shouldn't need to dose anything as water changes should take care of your levels.
My tank is 24" deep and I keep my radions at 55%. Sps on the top and zoas at all levels. I did melt a frag of blue tub zoas when it put them at the top of the tank.

have you checked them at different times of the day including night ? Do you have any inverts that might be bothering them. Check them with a magnifying glass you may have a pest. My experience with zoas was that they could take any normal parameter changes. It was usually something else. And they did seem to prefer dirtier water.

Put them back down where they were and leave everything alone.
Zoas are incredibly durable (except the tiny "deepwater" varieties). I had a rock in my sump with no light for over 3 months. I didn't realize and zoas were on it but when I reintroduced the rock to the display, the zoas opened within a day and are doing great.

Make sure temperature/S.G. of water is correct. I find low P04 is tough on zoa. I run two radion pro G3 at 100% on my 120. Depending on zoa, they can handle a ton of light even as much as sps. I find the best zoa tank is sumpless and skimmer less. Some will even say they "poop" in the tank. Zoa are softies and dont need dkh/cal like LPS/SPS.

Btw 10-15 nitrates isn't a big deal, I like to keep a little bit of nitrates in my softy/lps tank.
