dry rock

I will be going to the outer banks and was wandering if I could use some of the dry rock and hard sorals that they sell Thanks

Keep in mind some of those rocks and corals has lacquer. I love the outer banks, was one of the most beautiful places on earth. That was before the big developers came. I spent many of summer and fall days there. I remember the days of 40+lbs blues taken from the surf. And picking up spots and croakers from the shores, after the blues run. It might be before your time. I'm just an old man reminiscing. Lol. What was the question again.

Unless it's sold specifically for use in a tank I'd skip it. You don't know what it's been treated with.
