IM Ghost Skimmate Set up

So I just picked up my new Innovative Marine Ghost skimmate and replaced the original IM Skimmer. Has anyone else set this skimmer up yet? As it looks 100x better (in my opinion just as loud) than the original I cant seem to dial in a good skim compared to the orginal one. I tried to raise and lower the cup and turn the adjustable air valve and it seems to have no effect on the skim. Anyone have any tips or tricks?

Im in the same boat, I was able to get some wet gunk out of the tank but not pulling a lot out yet, just put it in on Friday though so I would give it some time
