Looking for recommendations...
I am looking for a rr tank 20-24" wide and about 36" long.
Any recommendations? Any equipment suggestions, brand/model? What size sump should I look at? I plan on having a fowlr for a few months to make sure I like the hobby etc but would like to grow into a reef tank.

Petco is having a dollar per gallon sale, look into the 40 gallon breeder tank, not quite your measurement. but pretty close very popular size tank

I saw that, was hoping to find something a little bigger. I guess a 40b would make a good sump though?

Custom is the way to go imo. If you were near california I would've suggested LeeMar because they've reduced prices dramatically to regain some lost business. I just ordered a rimless 48x24x20 from them for $520! Find a custom manufacturer and get exactly what you want.
