Your Durso will give you ~300gph before it starts to become too noisy, despite what others on here will tell you. I speak from personal experience - I use Durso's only and have for 25 or so years. I would take a look at an eheim if it were mine - probably a 1260. It should give you enough flow for the return and a couple T's off a DIY manifold to run reactor pumps as well. Just hook it up with a ball or gate valve on the output side so that you can tune it to the proper flow rate.

1260 is the model. I forget the gph. I use a 1262 on my 120 and it is perfect.

What is your skimmer GPH rate? make sure you have more GPH through your actual flow (not pump rated size) No major benefits in increasing flow more than that provided you use powerheads or other in display tank water flow techniques.
500 GPH after head and friction loss would be close to 300 many things dependent look up the headloss calculator on the main page for a better idea. Another idea if you want more than 300 GPH is to update your durso's into a siphon or herbie style drain. then you can put out as much flow as you want with little tank modifications. |

On my 60 cube I am running a panworld PW-40PX. It has a rating of 480GPH. From looking at the performance curve and estimating my losses, it is running about 360 gph. My overflow is fairly quiet.
