phosban 150 breaks
I bought a used phosban 150 on ebay and it seemed in acceptably used condition. I cleaned it with diluted distilled white vinegar, by using my maxi jet 1200 on it. Then a coule hours later the phosban broke in half. Is there anyway for me to send it to two little fishies to get it fixed? Has anyone had any experience dealing with two little fishies customer service? Or should i just weld the two acrylic pieces using weld on 16? :\
Thanks for any input! |

What part actually broke, the housing or the pieces that are inside? Weld 16 should work for whatever you're attaching together, the TL150 shouldn't be pressurized if you have it set up correctly. Is your adjustment valve on the input or output?

the broken part fit like a "lock and key" so i was thinking of just using weldon 16 to put it back together. What do you think?

You need to get it apart first or you risk permanently attaching the lid. that is an odd place to have it break, If it just poped apart then it was probably broken to begin with. you could contack two little fishes, they might fix it but you'll probably end up spending as much on shipping as buying a new one. Weldon 16 should take care of it but you need to separate the lid from the lip of the tube first and re glue it. That might not be so easy they can get stuck pretty tight.
