Live Rock in Unsettled sand tank?
Ok so I added approx 60lbs of sand to my tank about 24hrs ago and it's still settling which is fine. What I want to know is:
1. Should I have the power heads and filters on while it's settling? 2. Can I add cured live rock before it's fully settled? Thanks in advance |

you can add the rock and power heads. it will help clear up the water faster. but do understand that the rock is going to trap alot of the floating sand particles. so over time during water changes your going to want to blow the sand off of the rocks so it doesnt clog the rocks...
