How to change freshwater tank into marine QT?

Hi guys.. I thought I'd start a new thread.

I just got a used 40 liter freshwater tank hich I want to turn into a marine water QT.

It's a aqua start 340 with HOB filter. Filter includes filter media, carbon and filter pad. It was used only one month so not very old.

Any special precautions I need to take to clean it?

No this is what I do with every new or used tank I setup. Take out front, grab hose, spray down and wipe tank and filters ect. Let air dry and your good to go. Some use a vinegar and water or bleach and water solution, I never do. If you use bleach then be sure and get some water conditioner and spray/wipe down all surfaces to neutralize the bleach
