Zoa or paly

Having a debate with a friend regarding this rock I have in my tank. Im not sure myself but he said this was a paly. Reason being that it had a slit for a mouth. But other zoas in my tank also have this. The structure doesnt feel like it has any substrate in it. They do slime when irritated. Any ideas?
