Which sand
Getting ready to set up my first tank. One fish I really want is a Yellow Watchman Goby. What would be the best type of sand for this fish?
I don't have a real LFS near me so I will probably have to order it online. Out of 2 pet stores near me, the only one with any saltwater stuff is petco, and they have very little. |

I use pink Fiji and I've never had a problem.

Yea, Fiji Pink, or some other fine grained sand.

CaribSea Agaronite Special Grade Sand for me.
As long as you have something that isn't fine sand, you should be ok, as YWG like to build burrows. Fine sand won't work for that.

YWG need finer sand to sift through. Coarse sand isn't good for their mouths to sift.
