lighting question?
I want to make my tank a little bluer. I run phoenix 14k's with 4 true actinic T5's, but when the halides are on it drowns out the T5's and I lose the blue. If I add two blue led strips instead of the T5's will the same thing happen. Will the halides overpower the led's like they do with the T5's?

If it works, I'll try it. Is it that the blue on the Blue+ is a different wavelength and that's why it will be better than the true actinics?

Yes. They don't call it blue + for nothing.
