coral QT

I have a tank that got taken over by hair algae and apstasia. I want to start tank over, what can I do with my corals so they don't die and how can I get the hair algae and apstasia off them?

Are they connected to rocks or just frag plugs. If they are connected to rocks I would either break them off the rock or break the rock down so there is just the minimum around rock left connected to the coral. Then scrubbing the hair algae of the rock left or frag plugs, and using a kalk past to directly inject into the aiptasia. You can set up a small frag tank to keep just the corals going in the process of starting your display tank over again.

Just like a normal tank.

If you have enough money tied up in corals, I would get a Gryphon AquaSaw and cut away a small healthy part to make sure you have a frag if you can't save the colonies
