Options/ ways to Mount Ecotech Radion Lights
Hello everyone, this is my first time time on RC. I have a 75 Deep blue Edge series Tank which I just purchased two Radions G3 for.
My question is What options do I have to mount the lights except for mounting it in the ceiling? My stand is not capable of holding brackets to mount the lights, I have attached an image of my tank. |

There are a few threads running about this right now. Most of the ideas involve mounting in a canopy that either sits on the tank or is mounted to the wall or ceiling so that it appears to be floating over the tank, a cable/wire is run from the ceiling to suspend the lights, or a bracket is mounted on the wall. I saw an articulated TV bracket used for one tank and I think that is what I'm going to use over my 93 cube.
Do some searching for "radion mount" and you should find some good ideas. |

I must say I couldn't fight the urge so I made my custom bracket and went out to House of Fins to grab the hanging kit. I guess when the mounts start to sell I will grab a kit. Still a bit scared of hanging from the ceiling even though I used Toggle bolt.

There is a EcoTech forum here on RC, and it some threads on mounting Radions.
Here is one of those threads. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh....php?t=2258247
