Anemone Question
I got a 3 week old anemone from a fellow reefer who told me it was a split off from his RBTA. After about a month it's growing nicely, feeds well, and has chosen a preferred spot in the tank.
My question is about it's coloration. After waking, it's generally a dusky rose color but in the evening or after eating it goes psychodelic! It is green, orange, yellow, rose, and purple all at the same time. It's absolutely lovely and I couldn't love it more, but is this normal behavior? Did I really get an RBTA or is it actually a different type of bubble tip anemone? Anyone have some insight?

There are all different types/colors BTA. Sounds like you hit the jackpot!

Sounds like a nice nem. Can you post a photo? Do you have blue light running when it really pops?

Normal Pic

This is how it looks normally in the middle of the day. I do generally feed it when the lights start to change at dusk so there is a great deal more blue. I run Ecoxotics Panorama LED's on their controller. I'll try to take a picture of it later when it's performing!

It seems to be especially colorful during the actinic light phase but my camera doesn't take pictures very well in that light. I'm just blessed to have such a lovely companion.
