Foam for pumps

Where does everyone go for foam?

I am wanting to add some underneath some pumps to help reduce the vibration sounds.

This is what I used. I cut it and silicone sealed it to the bottom of my pump. Been running 2.5 years.

Huh, I wouldn't have ever thought of using that type of foam. For one it is not as porous so it won't gather as much detritus. Also that would be cheap.

Did you just glue a 2 rolls on the bottom or split them in half first?

I use that preforated gripping material you use in the kitchen to open jars and line the drawers with.

I use pond prefilter foam from the garden section at Lowe's.
