Skimz dc10000
I have just purchased this pump, and is awaiting delivery.
While I am waiting, I thougt that might as well prepare the tubing setup, but I can`t seem to find any information about the correct diameter for the pump. Can anyone here tell me about it? |

They use a Speedwave pump motor. Also the same as the Jaebo DC1000 pump motor and also the same as the older RLSS DC1000. If this is for a skimmer application which I assume it is, the volute and impeller would be different from the standard flow pumps. That said, the pump should have the following male threaded fittings on it.
Water inlet: 1.5" NPT Water outlet: 1.25" NPT Aqua cave sells those Skimz Pumps. You might want to give them a call or call your supplier to verify.

Bulk reef supply also sells skimz products so you might want to calm them also. Brs is also taking care of the warranty for skimz products.

I am located in Denmark, so it is not practical to contact American sellers. My pump is a standard pump, to be used as a return pump, so the diameters given in #2 is probably correct.
Thank You for the inputs! |
