Is "tipper plastic cup" okay to use in tank?

Silly question...

I couldn't find smaller glass or PVC cup for mushroom to attch it to rock peddles

So I end up using SMALL plastic cup by Tupperware (Rubbermaid)

Is it okay to put it in saltwater till mushroom attach to rock peddles ?

Thanks

I have tried tupperware before, but I found it didn't stay where I wanted in the tank very well, it should be ok though as far as being reef safe for a bit. I usually use cleaned out yogurt cartons myself.
