Gl*******s overflow: teeth or no teeth?

I'm about to gut and drill my 35g Solana for a glass-holes super nano overflow. I've always had "toothed" overflows, any downside to the "toothless" overflow?

I'll be pushing 100-150gph; it's rated for up to 200gph.

Ive been told toothless is the way of the future. Con - Livestock escape. Its easier for fish to jump over. Pro - they look soo sick. Like an infinity pool lol. Also i read that they make less noise and that they do a beter job surface skimming apposed to the teeth. Hope this helps.
