Salinity for live rock..?
Heyy! New here, will introduce.myself in another post lol
Im currently in thebprocess ofbsetting up my first sw tank, i pick up my live rock at the airport tommorrow at 3pm. I dont have a refractometer amd every hydrometer ive tried doesnt work. I used a buddys refrac when i filled tank a few days ago amd got to 1.024. Water has evaped some. So assuming my salinity has risen. Wondering if salinity matters that much for live rock..? My.refrac should be here by thursday/friday |

Mark a line on your tank representing the water level when it was 1.024 and add fresh water every time the water level drops below that line.
It won't be critical, but do try to keep it from getting worse. And use ro/di as fresh water.
