Super glue for SPS STN
Anyone ever use superglue or frag glue to stop STN on their SPS corals?

I haven't, but just out of curiosity, how would it stop it? If it found a way to start, I'm sure it can find a way to start again, regardless of the super glue.

i think once the "STN death from the bottom up" starts, there is no stopping it. i've tried to cut an inch higher than the STN to save a branch and it doesnt stop it.
but its worth a try. try anything other than just watching it slowly die from the bottom up. good luck |

I was successful super glueing the tips of my bird of paradise colony when it started rtning at the tips. I fragged off the dead tips and superglued the flesh. Two weeks and it appears to have worked. As said above I also had rtn at the tips. Never tried it in the bottom.

I have used superglue on chalice corals that were receding and it stopped the recession of tissue. The coral then grew back over the glue.
