Jebao rw15 problems

Hello

I received my 2 jebao rw15 pumps yesterday , they worked great but there was already one small problem: the leds of the pump speed did'nt work on one controller, so I set it as a slave and the other one as a master so I could regulate the flow.
But today the pump with the faulty controller started making a really loud high peeping noise and sometimes it just turned off itself (in every mode). So I have sent a mail to fishstreet (and I didn't receive an answer yet) and I turned it off .Now the other working pump is also starting to make the same sounds (not as loud as the other one ) , is this normal?
I thought they were supposed to be silent but even without the peeping my sicces were not as loud as these pumps.

Sooner than later the controller will go

I have heard that the controllers that are supplied by Jebao are poor quality and they are bound to break on you.
You should look into an alternate controller. I have heard that some people have had luck in adapting their tank controller to the task. I just ordered 2 of the RW15 and I also ordered the JB Wave controller for myself as I cannot afford to have a problem the JB controller has more features than you need but it will have a combination that is best for your setup with the Jebao you just settle for what you can figure out. I will also be rigging up a battery back up using a deep cycle marine battery to take care of the power outages. I will post how its done after I figure it out.
