Nano tank question

I just set up a 10gallon tank with coral and pair of clown, ai led, heater, filter, skimmer, also wave pump. My question was why there a lot of red stuff build into the rock and the glass, What are those and what should I do? Do they harm my fish and coral?

Be prepared for up,to 6 months worth of strange growths and an overall ugly and dirty looking tank. Don't fight it. It's normal.......

Diatoms are the food for your snails, pods, and other cool marine critters. You just have to keep cleaning up where the snails and stuff don't get it all. Part of the reef.
