120 Oceanic Tech Tank Overflow Question

I just picked up this tank without the overflow kits. I currently have a 90 gallon with 1" drain and 3/4" return. Can I use these same kits for this tank. When I look inside the overflow box all hole look to be 1" so I am not sure where to purchase the overflow kits for this ?

Build your own from new PVC. Do a herbie setup for quietness and redundancy. Full siphon and a durso backup/trickle drain.

The Tech tank used to come with a couple of the "All Glass" brand overflow kits. These had a Durso style drain pipe. The bulkheads seemed like they were proprietary and though they fit a 1" hole, the return pipes were a thin walled 3/4" PVC. So the renamed company "Aqueon" may still sell the same kits...not sure.
I don't see why you couldn't use the kit you already have assuming the bulkheads are for a 1" hole. If the return bulkhead in your kit is a 3/4", you could just buy a 1" bulkhead, and then place a reducer to make it 3/4".
I've never made a "Herbie" as recommended above, but making the Durso style yourself is very easy, if you decide to go that route.
Good luck,
Dave

Drae is right on. I bought a new 120 tech and did the same after dealing with the stock plumbing for a year or two. There are 4 holes that will fit 1" bulkheads. I have 1 gated full siphon, 2 backup drains and 1 return. 2 backup drains is probably not needed but I used loc-line and split my return inside the overflow box. I used a combo of 1" spaflex and hard pvc, it is silent.
