Stable without fluctuation is key low phosphate and nitrate your lighting is probably fine if it light shock the damage is done but it can't hurt to place it lower and gradually move it higher

I start almost all my new corals in the sand bed. Then I slowly move them up based on how much light I think they need. Especially if they are going to be under a different light source in previous tank ie T5, LED, MH, or CF

I will do this from now on but my only problem is my sand space is limited. |

You have any dwarf angels? I had a flame that really liked to pick at sps. He's moved onto another tank now.
I really think if it were due to light shock, it would have bleached within a week. A month of it growing and now just receding tells me something is bothering it, or you had some alk swings.

What other corals do you have in the tank?
Have you increased the lighting period recently? Are there any changes at all you've made in the last week? New added chemicals to control HA, large water changes (PH drop)...? |
