On/off valve on ro system
Hey yall quick question about an on/off valve on an ro system I'm going to install tomorrow. Is it better to have the valve after the canisters to keep them pressurized or before the ccanisters and not have any pressure on them. I'm only going to use the water to fill 5 gallon jugs for water changes. Thanks

You install one prior to the whole RO/DI system.
Of course the reason for the valve is for maintenance reasons. It doesn't do any good if you can't "service" the whole system. All the filters will stay "wet" But if its just to turn off the flow after you fill your tanks and you already have some method of turning off the water prior to the system then one one the output line is fine too.. |

Ok thanks it will be under the sink so will have the cold water valve to use for maintenance. Just wasn't sure if it better to leave it pressurized or not. Thanks again
