CaribeaSea special grade sand?
What's everyone's opinions on this sand? Upgrading my tank and starting with fresh sand. Is this sand OK for gobys and snails? Pics would be great if your running it!!
How much should I get for a shallow sand bed 1-2" in 54 corner? http://www.marinedepot.com/ps_viewit...sMoaAlA98P8HAQ

Save your money and buy dry aragonite. Caribsea also sells special grade Seafloor sand. Same grain size, much cheaper. It's what I used in several tanks.

I like the caribsea special, I think its a nice small-but-not-too-small grain size. I completely agree with Sugar though, buy the dry version:

I love it, but as with the previous posters....save some cash and buy the dry stuff if you can.

Just start with whatever makes you feel comfortable and you can always add more later.

Go with the caribsea seaflor special grade. It's perfect grain size IMO. If your tank is gonna have a lot of flow this sand stays put. Doesn't blow around. The second one u have listed is live sand. Waste of money!

The problem with ordering sand online is shipping cost. The weight is killer. I was gonna order mine online but I shopped around locally and found the caribsea seaflor for $40 a bag.
