many mini bubbles on the tank's seam

hi everyone,

I bought the new marineland 93g cube a few months ago. Today I took it outside to do a leak test for the first time.
while outside in the sun light, I noticed on the tank seams (all seam) have these many mini white bubbles.

should I be worry with these? this is a new tank, just testing water for the first time.

thanks

This is entirely opinion - but I'd probably take it back (if possible). Generally, bubbles in the seams of a new tank are just cosmetic, and while unsightly, have no effect on the integrity of the tank.

The problem with yours that I see is that the glass is relatively thin (I think for this size rimless, ML uses 10mm), and in the first picture, bubbles penetrate at least 75% at the top of the seam.

Without being able to really look closely at the seams, it's hard to say for sure - but simply based on the photos you sent, I'd take it back, not only for the peace of mind in regards to leaking/failure, but aesthetics as well. I'd expect better out of any product I purchase.

when I empty the tank, most of these bubbles disappear

Not sure it's safe to use. I have not heard back from Marineland yet.

Can you upload full-size images? I'd like to see the seams a bit closer up.

The bubbles are located between the silicone and the glass, correct? They aren't just surface bubbles or anything, right?
