Turbo snails,

Hi,can turbo snails get around on the substrate,or should I try to get it back onto a rock?? Is it a little vulnerable too from hermit crap intrusion?

They can, but not very fast. Sugar fine sand makes it even more difficult for them.

IME hermits generally don't bother true turbo snails because of their size. If the turbo is dying or dead all bets are off.
