Sudden Water Cloudiness?

Hi Everyone,

Today I did my usual weekly tank maintenance and did a 10% water change. I also dosed my tank a little while ago with Calcium, Alkalinity, and Magnesium, (since my levels were low) and about an hour later my entire tank is very, very cloudy. I have dosed before in the past but never seen the entire tank become cloudy. Is this something I should worry about?

Thanks!

probably a precipitation event. it will be all right. the amount of additives were the same as usual? maybe you added them together to soon. do you test before you add?

Yes, I do test before I add. I am pretty sure it was just adding the Ca, Alk, and Mg two soon in between. I usually wait around 15 minutes before adding another dose (i.e. Alk after Ca). About four hours later the tank has cleared up. Thanks for the response!
