problem

[IMG]http://i59.*******.com/2qstb2q.jpg[/IMG] drilled my 40 breeder too high i guess, any way to still use it or is it ruined? Its catching on the plastic rim

Camn you patch it and move the bulkhead to a new location? The hole should be a minimum of 4 thicknesses away from an edge.

You could notch the plastic rim out and use that as an emergency overflow.

Just drill a second hole next to it at the proper height and get an overflow that can cover both of them. If anything happens that the primary one plugs or restricts then you have a second hole to prevent an overflow.
