Plumbing Questions for Large Mixed Display
Please advise on plumbing a 265 duel corner overflow mixed tank. The stand will be done in about 6 weeks and I'm planning my plumbing. Moving up from a 110 with small Fuge to a 265 (84"x24"x32") with monster Fuge.
I'm need advise on what size plumbing to use for the return and drain, as well as other suggestions. Here's the equipment: High-Flow Sump/Refugium (48"x21"x30") with about 40gal Fuge volume Jaebo DC-1200 main pump (submersed) for returns Sicce 5.0 or 3.0 (submersed) return from Hi-Flow to Fuge Aqua Ultraviolet UV 57w 2 x Aquamaxx XL Reactor (Carbon and GFO) Aquamaxx Cone 5 Skimmer (Internal) Powerheads (Waterflow): Either use current 2x MP40 and add an additional MP60 or one Gyre 170 when they come out next month (if they do) I have attached a sketch that I found which is giving me a place to start but I'm just not sure. What size plumbing should be used (1", 1.5", 2")? How should I split off my returns to hit the UV and Reactors? Should I have the UV, or anything else, coming off my Fuge return in front of the Fuge? I have many questions so please advise on all. It'd be greatly appreciated. Not that it matters but I don't intend to dose at this time, The tank will be well stocked with both fish and coral. I have Apex Pro Grade and 4xH-52's if that matters. Thank you very much.
