MJ1200 vs WP25
I currently have 2xWP25's in my tank set on the high wave mode. Last night I put in a MJ1200 on its side using the included propeller and was beyond amazed at the circulation it provided. Its like the WP25s weren't even on. Admittedly, I was a little disgusted at what kind of stuff the extra circulation picked up, clouding my water. The WP25s (on high mode only, not wave) are rated for 800-2000gph, but never found out which setting corresponded to the top rated 2000 gph. I know wave gph isn't the same as steady flow gph, but this was night and day difference. The MJ nearly shot water out of my tank nearly 4' away.

You could go old school and get those old light timers or Red Sea wave makers and get some real nice flow on those MJ pumps.

Constant clicking on/off will drive you crazy. Not to mention you'll shorted the life of the MJ1200. If your going to go with a few MJ1200s just leave them on constant and face then towards each other.
