Have you looked at reefbreeders Photon series? I've heard good things about them and they have a ramp up/down timer built in. I just got some Kessil Tuna Blue and controller but that they are separate components

Kessil's are great and give the closest thing to sun and metal halide from a shimmer perspective. I use their 360WE's over my main display and love them. While I control mine from my Apex, Kessil offers a dedicated spectral controller which will do everything you need from sunrise, to sunset and color control right from the hand held controller. Over my display refugium, I've been using a Maxspect Razor which has been perfectly reliable and puts out decent light.
As mentioned, Reef Breeders makes decent lights with built in controllers and could be a suitable option as well.

I just put 2 24 " current pro strips in my 125 and have better light then I did with about 10 t8's. I plan to add 2 more 24" and 1 48" the 48 should be here by Christmas. They have a optional controller. But I am not an expert they could be junk but for my level of the hobbie they rock, and price wasn't bad on eBay. I do have a hood to put em in. In my 125 2 24"
you can use some calculator for whats best with your tank too, but I don't listen well. I have 1 white blue mix, and 1 white. |
