50 gallon corner tank set up
Hello, I plan on setting up my fish tank to a reef tank. It is a 50 gallon corner pentagon tank with a remora c skimmer and a fluval 305 canister filter. I'm trying to figure out what the best type of lighting would be for this tank

it depends on what you plan on keeping as far as corals. for soft corals you can use leds and t5 or compact fluorescent there are many ways to light your tank first figure out what you want to keep.

I thought canister filters weren't good for saltwater setups?

I would like to have some anemones in the tank as well and know they require a lot of light. I was told the canister filters are fine for saltwater. They have the bio media you can add but I am planning on using live rock. The canister filter will be used for water movement and filtration. Maybe a dump would be better
